 What is Renglish Academy?

Renglish Academy is a TESOL-qualified online and face-to-face English tutoring service offering personalised lessons for learners of all ages and levels — from primary school students through to adult corporate professionals. Our tutors are experienced, qualified, and passionate about helping every student reach their English language goals.

 Who are your lessons suitable for?

Our lessons are designed for a wide range of learners, including:

•  Primary and secondary school students (including VCE and HSC)

•  Students preparing for IELTS, TOEFL, or NAPLAN

 How do I get started?

Simply visit renglish.co to book your free introductory lesson. You'll be matched with a tutor suited to your goals, level, and availability. From there, you can schedule ongoing sessions at a time that works for you.

 Do you offer a free trial?

Yes! We offer a complimentary introductory session for all new students. This is a great opportunity to meet your tutor, discuss your goals, and experience the Renglish approach before committing to a package.

 What happens during a lesson?

Once you've booked a session through our platform, you'll receive a confirmation email with your lesson date, time, and a Google Meet link. During your lesson, you'll work one-on-one with your tutor in a focused, supportive online environment. Each session is tailored to your individual goals and current level. Towards the end of the lesson, your tutor will recap key learnings and check in to make sure everything has landed clearly.

 Are lessons online or face-to-face?

We offer both! Online lessons are conducted via Google Meet and are available to students anywhere in the world. Face-to-face lessons are available in Melbourne, Australia. You can choose whichever format suits you best — or mix and match depending on your schedule.

 How long are sessions?

All sessions are 50 minutes long — long enough to cover meaningful content, and short enough to keep focus and energy high throughout.

 Are lessons one-on-one or in groups?

We offer both private and group lessons. Private lessons are ideal for students who want fully personalised attention and faster progress. Group lessons can be a great option for building conversational confidence in a supportive peer environment. We're happy to discuss which format suits your child or your own learning style best.

 What materials will my child receive?

All Renglish learning materials are included as part of your sessions at no extra cost. After each lesson, students can access:

•  Downloadable class materials to review and keep

•  A post-lesson quiz to reinforce new skills

•  Homework worksheets and exercises sent directly via email

All materials are uniquely developed by our expert tutors and aligned with the International Cambridge Curriculum, ensuring high educational standards across every lesson.

 How long will it take to see results?

Progress varies from student to student — as with any skill, consistency is key. Students who attend regular sessions, complete their homework, and actively practise between lessons tend to see the fastest results. For students with urgent goals (such as an upcoming exam), we recommend our 10-lesson accelerator bundle for the most focused and impactful transformation.

 How do I know if Renglish is right for my child?

Book a free introductory lesson — it's the best way to find out. Our tutors will assess your child's current level, discuss their goals, and recommend a learning plan. There's no pressure or obligation, and the session is completely free.

 Will I be able to track my child's progress?

Absolutely. Your child's tutor will provide regular progress updates and feedback. We encourage parents to stay involved and communicate any concerns or goals at any time — our tutors are always happy to chat.

 What age groups do you teach?

We work with students from primary school age (approximately 8 years and up) through to secondary school, university, and adult learners. Our tutors adjust their teaching style and materials to suit each age group and individual needs.

 Is my child's learning personalised, or is it a one-size-fits-all program?

Every lesson is tailored to your child specifically. Before lessons begin, we assess their current level, learning style, and goals. From there, your tutor designs sessions around what your child needs most — whether that's building foundational skills, preparing for exams, or developing confidence in reading and writing.

 How do I book and manage sessions?

Bookings are made through our online platform at renglish.co. You can view upcoming sessions, reschedule, and manage your account easily from any device. You'll also receive email confirmations and reminders ahead of each lesson.

 What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or reschedules. Late cancellations (under 24 hours) or no-shows will be charged in full. If you need to reschedule, simply contact us as early as possible and we'll do our best to find an alternative time.

 Are your tutors qualified?

Yes. All Renglish tutors hold TESOL qualifications and are experienced in teaching English to learners of varying ages and backgrounds. Our founder, Rengin Melis Soydas, holds a TESOL certification from the Global Leadership College and brings years of teaching, coaching, and curriculum design experience to the Academy.

 What if my child isn't connecting with their tutor?

We want every student to thrive, and the right tutor-student relationship matters. If your child isn't feeling comfortable or isn't progressing as expected, please reach out and we'll work with you to find a better match. Your child's success is our priority.

 Do you offer lessons outside of school hours?

Yes — we understand that school and family schedules can be busy. We offer flexible session times, including after school, evenings, and weekends, to work around your routine.

 How much do lessons cost?

Our 1-on-1 session rates are:

•  Face-to-face: $70 AUD per 50-minute session

•  Online: $60 AUD per 50-minute session

We also offer a 10-session online bundle for $500 AUD (saving you $100).

 How do I pay?

Payment details are provided at the time of booking. We accept major payment methods and ask that payment is made prior to or at the time of the session. Bundle payments are made upfront to secure your package.

 Do bundle sessions expire?

Bundle sessions are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. We encourage students to use their sessions consistently for the best results.
